Formerly known as "Get Hired, Get Wired," the Instructional Technology Team provides this class to help new employees become familiar with the electronic resources available to them. Although not mandatory, we strongly recommend you attend PRIDE-Technology Orientation. It is part of your induction program.

PRIDE-Technology Orientation is a 3.0 hour professional development designed for any teacher new to CMCSS. It is an important informational offering which provides details about the technology rich resources available to teachers and students in the district. Even if you have taught elsewhere, you should consider attending to learn what is available for you here. The agenda includes details/resources and instruction on the following:
  • Email
  • Servers - Both Teacher / Student
  • District Technology Model
  • Work Orders
  • Online Resource Reservation
  • TestDrive - Assessment/Data Management System
  • Teacher Webpage Administration
  • Additional eResources
  • Operating Systems
  • and Other Topics
Given the scope of information, each group will have the opportunity to prioritize their agenda, enabling us to make the time we have available as profitable as possible. We will also provide guidance as to other Technology PD offerings to consider for more information about technology integration with students.

Dates: Jan 7, Feb 11, March 4, and April 8
Register on PLAN; the classes will come up in the list when you search for PRIDE in the search box or select PRIDE from the tags in the left menu.
Additional sessions are offered throughout the school year on Saturdays.
